 It's been so long since UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya faced a worthy opponent that really made fans wonder if he'd keep his belt.  After all, he successfully defended his belt five times and seemed to be in complete control during every performance.

 His superior hitting was the common denominator throughout his MMA career, using creative tricks to confuse his opponents, before striking quickly like a venomous snake dripping from his fangs.  When it comes to pure admiration, Adesanya is really on another level compared to most departments.

 I say "most oath" because there is only one fighter on a par with him in the martial arts world and that is Alex Pereira.  The Brazilian artist by knockout has already fought against Adesanya twice in his kickboxing career, defeating him by unanimous decision and then expelling him.

 His left hook is a thing of legend, because he doesn't really need much strength to eliminate opponents.  He also looked solid in defense on the ground, which makes him a worthy and interesting opponent for Adesanya.

 Although there are a lot of positives for Pereira in this match, he is at a very disadvantage in terms of MMA experience compared to Adesanya.  Of course, he's no newbie to combat sports and the bright lights of Madison Square Garden wouldn't make him freeze inside the octagon, but he's fought fewer than 10 MMA fights in his career.  Could this be a step too far too soon?
